This piece brings together Tamil Nadu and the Northeast of India. A meeting of textiles, weights, and ways of wearing.

The body is constructed using lungi fabric from Tamil Nadu, while sections of the sleeves are made from a softer, lighter handloom towel textile—allowing the garment to remain full-sleeved while staying breathable and easy on the body. The contrast in fabric weight creates softness without losing structure.

Cut with a raglan sleeve, the excess is carried forward into an angular dart at the shoulder, shaping the garment without rigidity. It is double-breasted, finished with pockets, and designed with a dress-like length in mind.
